dfuse.in?

dfuse.in started life on the backbenches of SJPUC in Bangalore when two I PU (11th grade) students, Siddharth Manohar and Aniket Dasgupta wanted to “do something”.This was sometime in August 2009. Siddharth would move on to study Law at NLU,Delhi  and Aniket would move on to Pune to study media(?) at Symbiosis Institue of Media and Communication. And in Pune, dfuse.in would sort of become what it is today with a team of dedicated staff members primarily from Aniket’s college. This staff was headed by Lipi Mehta, who as Editor in Chief, single-handedly forged a small but strong network of contributors and partners taking dfuse.in to a whole new level.

In the summer of 2013,college ended and with it most of this original staff moved onto greener and better paying pastures. (At dfuse.in we have a policy of paying our staff with hugs, not the best for staff retention)

Initially started as a pdf zine, dfuse.in turned into many things, some of which don’t really exist. Like unicorns and SRK’s acting abilities. At this point even we aren’t completely sure as to what we are. Some people call us a blog. Some people call us a magazine. Some people think what we do is stupid. But some people will be some people. Let’s just say that we are a youth oriented culture blog. Whatever that means.

dfuse.in’s goal is to to bring intergalactic peace through cultural understanding and criticism since world peace is too mainstream.
