The Once In a While Playlist #7 #BOTN

So this week’s playlist is sort of special. There was this show called Bring On The Night on MTV last year which brought many of us back to tele. (Though a lot of us watched it on YouTube)

The show was unlike anything we’ve had the fortune of seeing on Indian channels. It was young, it wasn’t stupid and it was fun to watch. But what was even better was the songs featured on the show. It brought out an eclectic mix of independent artists in India to a TV viewing audience who probably hadn’t heard anything beyond mainstream Bollywood or VH1 curated international music.

So we decided to go back to the show and pick up 9 of our favourite tunes.
