Plan India is an NGO that aims to improve the lives of underprivileged children in India. They believe in the child-centered community development approach where the children, their families, and their communities are active participants in order to improve their lifestyle and well-being. The NGO is organizing the Because I Am A Girl rock concert in Mumbai in order to raise funds for the girl child through Wishberry.in.

The concert will take place from 5:30 p.m. onwards on the 10th of October at the Chitrakoot Ground in Mumbai. The bands / artists who are performing are Indian Ocean, Parikrama, Indus Creed, Euphoria, Papon and Sona Mohapatra. We don’t think that one would want to miss such an event where you will not only be able to donate for a noble cause, but will be able to see some of the best artists of India perform on one stage.

Go to this link if you want to contribute to this event directly or buy tickets for the event. Attendees may even stand a chance to win Neeta Lulla t-shirts or a limited edition artist-autographed t-shirt. Do support the efforts that Plan India has made by liking their Facebook page here. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below and we will get back to you at the earliest.
