Rebel County 2012
Known for the environmental friendly causes it supports, Rebel County is the flagship event of Rockski Events, Shillong. This year, with the theme of ‘Fat for Fuel’, the event will try and spread awareness about the various issues caused by traffic congestion in Shillong through an evening of music. Headlining the event is Dawn of Demise, who were judged as the best live band at the Danish Metal Awards.
Supporting them with be Chronic Xorn from Kolkata, veteran Shillong metal band, Plague Throat and melodic death metal outfit, Dead Calm Chaos. The event will take place on the 20th of October at the State Central Library Premises, Shillong. The event will tastefully highlight the need of walking in place of using vehicles, especially when they are not required. This is a wonderful initiative and we wish all the best to the organizers for the same!
