  Aniket is the source of inspiration behind the characters of Barney, Ted and Marshal from How I Met Your Mother. However, he is actually a cross between Lily and Robin. He is multicultural and loves making lame cultural jokes. Also, he is one of the reasons for the dumbing-down of the human race – the other being his best friend Nimitt Dixit who is a Nobel Laureate just like Aniket.
