I loved Udaan when I saw it. And then I wanted to see if Udaan’s director had other works, so I stumbled upon Lootera. And then I loved it too. Motwane did it again!

I had read O Henry’s short story collection several years ago, and the way the last leaf came up in the movie was a pleasant surprise. I feel as if am slowly beginning to discover good Indian cinema…Kashyap, Motwane, Vishal Bhardwaj – they are all quite soul stirring.

It’s unfortunate though that most of the Indian audience doesn’t watch a movie based on who made it, but instead whether there is Ranbir Kapoor/hot heroine/sex in it. But oh well, I guess that is true for the world audience also.

Btw, am curious to see if you will review B.A. Pass. Have you seen it? (I loved it :D)

I don’t think the film was meant for you. Go watch Son of Sardar or YPD 2. Loser. This film is superb. I would give it full 5.

Kya bakwaas film thi. Boring yaar, ye anurag kashyap ko bore karne me bara mazaa aata hain.
