At first it sounds like a digitally re-mastered edition of Songs Our Daddy Taught Us by The Everly Brothers, but turns out to be a fan rendition collaborative by Norah Jones and Billie Joe Armstrong. If you’re listening to ‘Foreverly’ for the first time with your headphones on, you’ll probably psyche out thinking you’re listening to Billie Joe and Norah doing karaoke at a local bar. But the negligibly heard violins and piano rolls will make you want to love them for their originality. But nevertheless, the bonding of a soulful jazz vocalist and an animated rock frontman comes alive through a LP. It will surely make you cry… when you’re drunk and heartbroken.
